Important Notes for Use
This feature has several limitations. Functions not currently available will be added in future updates.
Limitations on Available Features
The "Company Template Playbook" cannot be used with this feature.
Contract risk checks/compliance checks results can only be downloaded in Excel format. Downloading in Word format is not possible.
Save Restrictions
You cannot directly Save the main text on LegalOn from this feature.
If saving is required, return to the contract details screen and convert the PDF file to a Word file using the " Convert PDF File to Word File " procedure.
Display Restrictions
For "Compliance Checks," clicking an alert will not highlight or automatically move to the relevant section in the main text. Therefore, we recommend downloading the check results in Excel format to identify areas requiring revision.
Image PDFs (scanned paper documents) will not highlight or automatically move to the relevant section in the text when you click an alert.
Even with text PDFs (data converted from Word files, etc.), highlighting may be misaligned in the following cases:
When the PDF display's reading accuracy fails to identify the relevant section in the document
When multiple identical strings exist in the alerted contract text
Performance Limitations
After clicking an alert, highlighting/auto-move to the relevant section in the contract text may take approximately 3 to 20 seconds.
*For contracts exceeding 50 pages, it may take over 20 seconds.Files with a large number of pages may experience increased reading load and Error.
Running PDF files through Contract Risk Check/Compliance Check
Open the [Contracts] list

3. Click [Review] (PDF icon) in the upper-right corner of the file Details screen or click [V] → [Review PDF]
[Review] button: Transitions to the check results screen.

[Review PDF]: Transitions to the risk check screen.
[Convert to Word]: Converts to Word and transitions to the risk check screen. For how to use this feature, see " Converting PDF Files to Word Files ".
[Change Default]: Refer to " Changing the Default Button Display ".
4. Check [LegalOn Alert], select [Contract Type] and [Company Position], then click [Check].

If you have not clicked [Convert to Word File for Review], the editor-related functions described within each help page in Step 5 will not be available.

Change the default button to be displayed
Click [V] → [Change Default] in the upper-right corner of the file Details screen to switch the default displayed button to either [Review PDF] or [Convert to Word].
Important Notes
The [Change Default] setting is saved in the browser you are using. Therefore, the setting will not be carried over to other browsers or computers. Additionally, clearing your browser cache will reset the setting.
