This article explains how to send messages from Slack to LegalOn.

This article is intended for clients who do not have a LegalOn account. Please use it when deploying operations internally.

Usage Conditions

Message Input Restrictions

  • Character limit: Maximum 3000 characters

  • Mentions: Maximum 50 Cases

Files that can be attached and imported with messages

  • File formats: Refer to "■Supported File Formats > ◇File Formats Importable from LegalOn Interface" in " LegalOn System Requirements ".

  • Individual file size: 10MB or less

Send a message from Slack

Click [Reply to Thread] Displayed within the Slack message

* Be sure to click the [Reply to Thread] button within the message and please enter your message. If you reply using Slack's standard thread reply function, the reply message will not be integrated with LegalOn.

2. Enter your message and click [Transmission].

Click [Upload File] to attach a file.

The message you send will be applied in both the [Slack] tab on the cases details screen and the Slack thread.

Important Note

  • Do not reply using Slack's standard thread reply function. Always click the [Reply to Thread] button within the message to enter your message. Messages replied to within a thread will not be applied in LegalOn.

  • You cannot edit or delete transmission messages afterward.

  • Attachments must meet the requirements specified in the 'Terms of Use '. Sending a message with an attachment that does not meet the requirements will result in a transmission failure, and all input content will be lost.
