This section describes how to send a message from Slack to LegalOn Cloud.

This article is intended for requesters who do not have a LegalOn Cloud account. Please use this information when developing your own in-house operation.

Terms of Use

Restrictions on message entry

  • Characters: Max. 3,000 characters

Send a message from Slack

1. click [Reply to Thread] displayed in the Slack message.

*Be sure to click the "Reply to Thread" button in the message and type your message; if you reply in a thread using the standard Slack functionality, your reply message will not be linked to LegalOn Cloud.

2. Enter your message and click [Send].

Click [Upload File] to attach a file.

Both the Slack tab and the Slack thread on the case detail screen will reflect the message you sent.

important point

  • Please be sure to click the Reply to Thread button in the message and type your message, rather than replying on the thread using the standard Slack functionality. If you reply on a thread, your message will not be reflected in LegalOn Cloud.

  • Messages that have already been sent cannot be edited/deleted later.
