This guide explains how to submit a case to LegalOn from the case submission form.

This article is intended for clients. Please use it when implementing this process internally.

Terms of Use

Files that can be attached and imported via the Case Submission Form

  • File formats: Please refer to "■ Supported File Formats > ◇ File formats that can be attached to a Matter Management case from email" under " LegalOn System Requirements " and check the "Not Supported" section. File formats not listed there are supported. (*1)

  • File size per file: 100 MB or less

  • Total file size: 200 MB or less

  • Number of files: Up to 10 (*2)

  • File name: Up to 200 characters (including file extension)

(*1) Files that can be attached via [AI Automatic Contract Check] are Word files (.doc or .docx) and PDF files.

(*2) Only one file can be attached via [AI Automatic Contract Check]. If this option is available on the form, the limit for the number of files that can be attached via other options is 9 (this applies even if no file is attached via this option).

Submit a request from the Case Submission Form

1. The requester opens the form URL

*For forms marked as "Internal Use Only," a Login screen may appear. In this case, the form will be displayed after you log in.

2. Enter the required information and click [Review Transmission]

3. Review the details and click [Transmission]

Once the request is complete, an email containing one of the following will be sent to the Email address entered in the [Email Address] field.

(*) Files attached to the form will be attached to the email if their total size is 20 MB or less. If the total size exceeds 20 MB, only the file names of all attached files will be listed in the body of the email.

Note

For forms marked [Public: Anyone can submit], a system called reCAPTCHA may automatically activate to prevent fraudulent transmissions.

When attaching a contract via [AI Automatic Contract Review]

If you submit a request enabled for the [AI Automatic Contract Check] section on the form, the AI will automatically perform an initial review based on the contract review criteria set by the legal department.

Please refer to the following steps to register for [AI Automatic Contract Review].

1. Upload the contract to be reviewed

2. Select the [Contract Type]

LegalOn will automatically send you an email containing the results of the contract review from the system.
